                 Just Say No To Drugs

The Truth About Drugs
DRUGS & SOCIETY

Does our society place too much attention and emphasis on illness?

We build hospitals and medical facilities all over the place. We have "DRUG" stores. TV is full of advertisements for this ache or that pain, for life-threatening illnesses that we "must look out for" and prevent, conditions that we "may" get in the future, pills for this, pills for that, new diseases every day. You can't watch television without being bombarded with commercials for drugs 24/7.

In fact there is so much ill-health in our society that our governments, hospitals, cities, and citizens can't keep up. There isn't enough money. There aren't enough doctors. There aren't enough nurses. There aren't enough hospitals. It's like illness itself has become a disease and an obsession.

The message being promoted is that this is just the way life is. Expect to get ill is the underlying theme, presented as reality.

Well, what if life isn't like that? What if illness is abnormal instead of "normal"?

The Way To Happiness

FACTS

An estimated 200 million people worldwide consume illegal drugs.

More and more young people are being introduced to drugs, and at an earlier and earlier age.

Every Day in Canada 500 kids start using DRUGS for the FIRST TIME.

A drug addict will cost society $50,000 in medical expenses.

If criminal, a drug addict will create $2,000 to $10,000 worth of damage daily - to support a $100-a-day drug habit.

A drug addict started somewhere, usually school, often Elementary or Middle School.

We need to reach KIDS while they are still making up their minds about drugs.

We need to give KIDS the TRUTH about drugs so they will choose a drug-free future.

Narconon's Drug Prevention Video program does this. 70% of the KIDS change their minds about drugs after watching their videos.

How much is a KIDS DRUG-FREE FUTURE WORTH TO YOU? Is it worth 30 cents?

To sponsor one video into a school costs $300 and is run for 3 to 5 years.
